To reduce wellhead pressures – water injectors
Hybrid product to be used in water injection systems in injector wells, whose main function is to decrease the injection pressure at the well head and/or electricity, with the great benefit of highly increasing the water injection, obtaining an increase in the volume of water injected; additionally we present other benefits:
Benefits in water injectivity
- This type of hybrid technology provides within the water injection system an active carrier medium which acts on interfacial tensions.
- As a result of this activity, chemical structures such as fines, sands, silts, clays, oil-impregnated solids and inorganic salt particles in general are carried in turbulent flow and when they come into contact with the hybrid components, they can be transformed into miscellaneous structures.
- This product forms a film inside the system, which allows that macroparticles, solids, inorganic salts, etc. do not obstruct the injector systems.
- Laboratory tests on the compatibility of the surfactant with the components of the water to be injected show that in general water characterisations of the oil fields it does not generate any type of incompatibility.
Economic and operational benefits
- Hybrid’ products never present oversaturation of their components within the injection systems.
- The significant savings with the application of this product are quite high, as the lower pressures will result in less energy consumption.
- With ChemiFlow 3130/3444, we will obtain large increases in water injection volumes and a reduction in injection pressure at the wellhead.
Chemical and environmental characteristics
- These are products formulated with fifth generation technology that correspond to chemical compounds of a hybrid nature.
- This type of product has chemical components with flat molecular structures which are ecologically friendly to the environment.
- Their chemical components, being hybrids, are constituted by a system of phases with molecular structures whose phases can withstand high temperatures.
- The fifth generation ‘hybrid’ chemical components have, as one of their primary functions, to dissolve completely in water.
- The fifth (5th) and sixth (6th) generation ‘hybrid’ products have within their molecular structure, regulatory components of their active structures.
- Hybrid products have a broad working spectrum.
